    Simple question

I have a fried laptop (it decided to go swimming but we won't get into that) and have my 650 with all of my data on it.

Will transferring/syncing all of my data to a new computer be as simple as loading the treo software, setting the initial setting for handheld overwrite computer, then hitting the hotsync button or are there other steps to worry about here?

I have a lot of programs that I have to keep and I want to be sure that everything moves over easily.

    Please help.

Yes, it could be as simple as that. However, keep in mind that if you have any third-party programs installed on the handheld that also have conduits to the computer, you will have to install all of the desktop components of those programs on your new computer as well (after you install the Treo software). Then set all of the conduits to "Handheld overwrites desktop" and sync.
