My 4 year old i-mate PDA2k has been behaving erratically for the past 2 weeks:
while in its cradle, it soft-resets itself when a call is received or when a new text message comes in
while not in the cradle, it sometimes resets out of the blue, even though the battery claims it's over 90% charged
while in its cradle, it freezes, and all I can do is reset it, then it will freeze again in a few minutes (when I press the call button, or apparently when ActiveSync tries to connect)
I bought a new battery from eBay ($ and will receive it in a few days. However, this doesn't seem to be a battery problem, since the resets happen in the cradle as well.
Two questions then:
What can I do to get my PDA2k stable as it has been?
If it's just too old, what is the best replacement PDAphone nowadays for the i-mate PDA2k?
